SA Generators has been importing and distributing generators from China for over four years. This has escalated rapidly due to the result of load shedding by ESKOM and their being unable to meet the demand of electricity supply needed nationally. South Africa is in an electricity crisis!

Because of other business interest, Mr. Gerber travelled to China. Whilst there, it came to Mr, Gerber’s attention that China’s generators, branded and unbranded, were of the highest quality and exceptionally affordable. To date SA Generators has imported numerous generators of various KVA outputs, now available up to 3000KVA.

SA Generators, in association with the Chinese Manufacturer, is setting up two service depots. The first will be in Johannesburg and the second in Cape Town. From these depots, both servicing and service contract needs will be met. As the need arises, other service centres will be opened. Preference will be given to authorising dealers in smaller areas to service and maintain these machines. In doing so we would like to contribute to the establishing of SMMEs and their success in the South African economy.
